I have a table giving data for the following:
денежные доходы
номинальная заработная плата
денежные расходы
оборот розничной торговли
Объем бытовых услуг
For a start, I can't use the dictionary definition "personal services" as it sounds like they are visiting a "special" sauna.
It is not clear from the figures, but I wonder if оборот розничной торговли and Объем бытовых услуг are being given as the two components of денежные расходы, i.e. money spent on goods on the one hand, and services on the other.
Any thoughts welcome. Do we just say "services" in English?

: I tend to disagree with the term "domestic servies" as a translation for "бытовые услуги". "Domestic services" refers to services carried out at smb's home, like babysitting, cleaning, cooking, gardening. http://www.google.com/Top/Home/Domestic_Services/

: as far as i know customer service is when I, a customer, call a company and file a complaint about their defected product. бытовые услуги is laundry, cleaning etc.

I know, but somehow I get the feeling that in the Russian source the wrong term was chosen. But of course I could well be wrong.
