If we are taking about about a multistation gym here, they consist of two, three, four or even five stations, each one of which offers a specific exercise (shoulder press, fly, curls, leg flex/extension, etc.). The term is referring to a "barra automática" and I believe this fits in with my idea of the idividual stations.
