EUROS %

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general) conditions for suppliers
"el sistema informático de [COMPANY] reconoce 2 decimales para los precios pieza expresados en EUROS % y 3 decimales para las otras divisas"

Anyone know what that percentage sign is about? Or am I displaying my ignorance once again? I'm quite happy with the sentence without it! ("The [COMPANY]’s IT system recognises figures to 2 decimal points for parts prices expressed in EUROS and to 3 decimal points for other currencies.")

Apparently this is about a system that can actually divide between two different notations: poin and comma.

Prices expressed in Euro: two decimals after the comma - comma separated. (like with 'CSV' in Excel)

Prices expressed in other currencies: three digits behind the point - point separated.

Euro % = euro + cents behind the comma.
23 (pro)cents = €0,23... 101 cents is €1,01

Other currencies can be expressed as: $1.011, ¥2.023, £51678.123

Maybe % should be 5? ... if the shift key was still held down when the 5 was typed. Not sure if it makes sense though!

It might be that for Euros commas are used, while for other currencies a point is used?
