Spanish term

demandada

Spanish to English Marketing hair-care products - consumer
La ***demandada*** francesa se deja influir en sus decisiones de compra por sofisticadas propiedades de los productos como las “multivitaminas” o la “Ceramida”.

I don't think the normal translations for 'demandada' apply here - I mean I don't think it's a 'defendant'. This marketing text is describing the French market for hair-care products. I suppose I could simply say 'French consumers' here. Could anyone possibly confirm this or tell me what it should be?

Many thanks in advance!

Sheila

I would specify HAIR CARE PRODUCT and users because the one who buys is not necessarily the one who uses....the users are the ones who "answer" the questions....

I like your option since it refers to the people who are influenced. Another could be French demand (as in supply and demand).

Yes, I'd just translate it as French consumers, as it is describing characteristics of the market/target consumers sector in that country.
