form of a library
COMWIN Control Desk Visualisation
Visualisation software for control stands and client-server architectures is intended to provide a clearer overview of all the functions of the Intercom Server, such as control stand calls, input messages, output statuses, video control systems and PA circuits. It must be possible to install the software on standard Windows-based PCs. The visualization software should be divided into locations, plans and icons. A location contains several plans, a plan groups the individual levels of a building to form a building plan and an icon represents a station, an input, an output or an object outside of the Intercom system on the plan. The icon should also display the status of the object by means of various freely definable status levels in order to focus the user's attention and should trigger the transmission of certain ICX messages as required. In the maximum configuration and by networking up to 25 visualization clients including video, or up to 50 stand-alone video clients, it should be possible to implement an unlimited number of plans and up to 1000 icons per plan. The icons must be available in the form of a library and they should be parameterized using the configuration program of the Intercom Server. A scenario whereby parameters have to be defined twice (in both the Intercom system and the visualization system) must be avoided. Connection to the PA system and to the control stand system must take place via a serial V24 or IP interface. Control stand visualization must not carry out any of the controlling functions of the control stand system, i.e. if the PC's power fails, all control stand functions must still be available.
Коллеги, как правильно перевести вот это место: ”The icons must be available in the form of a library” - Пиктограммы должны быть доступны в виде библиотеки. Такой смысл? Или здесь другой смысл? Пожалуйста, предложите свои варианты.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Думаю смысл в том, что они не должны быть рандомно взяты непонятно откуда, а должны образовать единую логическую структуру, библиотеку
