This is from a pathology report: "....das Material der 5 Paraffinblöcke mit der Markierung.....präsentiert Querschnitte des teilweise deutlich ekstatisch erweiterten Appendix mit zum Teil deutlich abgeflachter und dissozierten Söhne frisch eingebluteten mucosa, zum Teil mit erkennbarer granulozytäre Infiltrate, ...."
this is obviously some sort of mistake, perhaps a typo, but what could it stand for?
