enlivens
possibly not quite *exactly* what "rafraîchit" means in the dictionary, but it goes well with "vivacité", IMHO.
Plus you're allowed some licence with this kind of stuff.
(I also have a minor niggle with 'refresh' since I always equate that with 'cool and thirst quenching' and I'm not sure that goes with wine. But that could just be me, of course!! )
