Explanation:
The point is that it's NOT the whole floor but just one of several top-floor flats characterised also by a large terrace much bigger than an ordinary balcony. I should know - I live in one. There are two áticos (note the accent) on the top floor of my building. Áticos are currently very much in demand in Spain.
