Portuguese term

cumpra

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
this refers to a inquest written by the Tribunal Judicial da Comarca de Albufeira. The sentence is on it's own and it goes like this: 'Cumpra o articulo 277 do C. P. Penal' I've translated it so far as 'serving' but it doesn't really 'fit' properly. Can anybody help?
