You are welcome, Chris. As a matter of interest, neither Oxford nor Robb dictionaries mention "dimensioning". Where did you find it?

Thanks for your note and the links. I still think dimensioning is not correct, but since Engineers use it, I guess your choice depends on how much of a purist you are. Curiously enough, we have the same situation in Spanish with "dimensionar" which is not really a verb but an "extension" of dimensión. In any case, interesting discussion and hope I have been of help
