No doubt about it: your transcription should read, "puro pedo", meaning "it's all bullshit", or "horseshit", or something to that effect. In this specific case, you could say "talk tough". But profanity can be so much fun; try to be creative! Good luck.

Need a bit of CONTEXT here; "puro pelo" means "bareback" (riding) to a Mexican, but could he be saying "puro pedo"? Need CONTEXT before and after.
