‘steekvast’ = in patent application I'm working on in the context of the immobilization of hazardous materials, by adding a binder (such as lime or cement), I think ‘steekvast’ and ‘steekvast maken’ can be translated as ‘solidified’ and ‘solidify’, respectively.
