creo que la palabra está usada aquí como adjetivo y no apunta tanto a denominar la superficie o los terrenos propiamente tales, sino el concepto referido a lo agrícola. En el primer caso se refiere a la biodiversidad agricola y en el segundo a la fauna que habita los terrenos / superficies agrícolas.
