Formula itself doesn't denote MILK... it rather denotes the recipe or to be more precise the relative amounts of each constituent in such milk ... hence the name FORMULA milk to mean the حليب صناعي but formula itself would mean: تركيبة الحليب الصناعي formula feeding however is best translated in my opinion as waleed's just mentioned; رضاعة صناعية and it's definitely right. I've read it many times in Arabic medical journals.
