English term
discourse-internal

Linguistics
the deictic pronoun ήδε which modifies ιστορίης απόδεξις...is often treated...as the cataphoric pronoun that points ahead to what follows in the text. This would imply that Herodotus himself, in the act of writing, is the deictic centre of the Proem: 'what follows (i.e., what I have before me) is the ιστορίης απόδεξις of Herodotus of Halicarnassus', or 'the ιστορίης απόδεξις of H. of H. is as follows'. Such a *discourse-internal* function of ήδε, however, does not exhaust the possibilities of this demonstrative; indeed, the cataphoric use of όδε is not even its primary function. When used in interactive discourse contexts, the proper locus of this proximal deictic element, όδε is typically discourse-external, either marking something as close to the speaker and the hearer, or referring to the discourse itself, even to the speaker himself in the act of uttering it.

[http://www.komvos.edu.gr/glwssa/Lexiko/S/sinexis_logos.htm]
As a point of departure for establishing subcategories of discourse markers, we have adopted a system of illocutionary acts proposed by Willis Edmonson (Spoken Discourse: a Model for Analysis, 1981). By this scheme, there are two broad subcategories of markers: discourse internal markers, such as ``mira'' above, which are used to control the flow of the conversational interaction and discourse external markers which are used to express one's beliefs, positions, intentions and so on regarding the activities or states of affairs being discussed. The former category includes markers which indicate such things as greeting, uptakes, continuing, concurrence, preannouncing, exclaiming, feedback-seeking, deferring, interrupting, leave- taking, and so on. The later includes markers that indicate the more usual illocutionary acts found in the literature such as suggesting, requesting, complaining, licensing, thanking, apologizing, telling, claiming, opining, excusing, justifying, condoning, etc.

Στο Encyclopedic Dictionary of Language and Languages γράφει μόνο:
*discourse analysis* (DA) The study of continuous stretches of language longer than a single sentence; also called discourse linguistics. It especially investigates the organization of such general notions as conversations, arguments, narratives, jokes, and speeches, looking out in particular for linguistic features which identify the structure of the discourse (discourse markers), such as 'I mean to say' or 'Well, anyway'. The term has been used to apply to both spoken and written language, but some authors restrict it to speech, and deal with the structural organization of writing under the heading of text. See also CONNECTED SPEECH; CONVERSATION ANALYSIS; MONOLOGUE; NARRATIVE; PARAGRAPH; TEXT.
Στο Cambridge Encyclopedia of Language έχει πολύ περισσότερα για το discourse, αλλά και πάλι δεν περιλαμβάνονται τα discourse-internal και -external.

** Re endophora, endophoric, exophoric.

Thanks! Though this may solve the asker's problem, I still haven't seen a translation of discourse-internal that would fully satisfy me. It's the usual problem of English being able to fish for its terms from the ponds of so many different languages.

Here I may seem to be seconding M.A.K. Halliday's and Ruqaiya Hasan's distinction between *endophoric* and *exophoric* reference, or *discource-internal* and *discourse-external* (that is, deictic) reference.
