Procedura per perdite e danni.

It is worth nothing that according to the isntitute Cargo Clauses A, Clause 16.2, in case of a loss or a damage, it is duty of the Assured and their servants and agents to ensure that all rights againts carriers, bailees, or other third parties are preserved and excercised.

Non riesco a capire come tradurre questa frase in questo contesto, significa che le clauole non hanno nessuna importanza???

Mi e' venuto in mente che potrebbe esserci un errore di scrittura. Se invece di "nothing" avessimo "noting", la frase avrebbe piu' senso per noi profani, ma magari la risposta precedente e' corretta.... giudica tu dal contesto.
