Ich arbeite immer noch an dem Text über die Weichenstellsysteme:

"Die entscheidenden Punkte der Verschlussauflösung und der Verschlussbildung sind aus Bild 9 ersichtlich."

Lock opening/closing?

I think it has to be some kind of lock release and lock closure.

? facing point lock (FPL)? - blades that keep the points (turnouts) from moving while the train passes over them ? - Does that fit the context?
