Polish term

prof.zw.

Polish to English Other Education / Pedagogy title in university
profesor zwyczajny - this is a title of a professor maybe: ordinary professor. How to translate this using acronims? prof.ord.??

Discussion

grzes Apr 5, 2006:
imho ironsz is right; just leave Prof. in front of the name and be done with it.
ironsz Apr 5, 2006:
Jolo (asker) Apr 5, 2006:
maybe the whole expression will be more helpful: prof.dr.hab. X Y , prof.zw.
So, how to translate this now?
Olga Karp Apr 5, 2006:
zacznij od glosariusza (np.: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1235927 i wiele innych... ) temat wraca jak bumerang

Prof.

"full professor" (or simply "professor")

- AS OPPOSED TO "associate professor" or "assistant professor"
