German term

Länder-Basisfallwerte (LBFW)

German to English Medical Medical: Health Care law
There are also federal-level Basisfallwerte (BFW). At the moment, I have only footnotes in a ppt file and am googling. It seems that these are the target costs set by the German government, or set at the Land/state level, for the maximum or average [unclear] payments to hospitals by the Kassen for certain cases or DRGs (diagnosis-related groups). This is a rush job, which is why I am posting it in parallel to searching (apologies for that). The DL is Monday at 8:00 am CET.
Many thanks in advance for any pointers.
Terry
