The device was finally tested in a cadaver experiment by an experienced surgeon. After a tibial precut of about 6 mm, the device
was installed in the knee gap. In order to verify the consistency
between the device measurements and the surgeon’s perception,
the net varus-valgus moment was measured during a
ligamentrelease procedure.

How is thrombolysis performed?
You will be lying on an x-ray table. In most patients, the radiology doctor will pass a small tube, also known as a catheter, into the vein behind the knee (popliteal vein). Before he does this, he will turn you onto your stomach and clean the area behind the knee with antiseptic solution.
