Since the targeted audience will be not only Spanish speaking people in the USA but also overseas... would you leave it as GED? or translate as "certificado de bachillerato"? Thank you in advance for your help!

agree  Hermeneutica: Yes, because it is not the same as a bachillerato. I would even only say what Steven suggests after exploding the acronym so they will know that it is a very specific thing.
