marketing Explanation: I think this is the most succinct way to capture the same nuance. Of course, it will be tricky to contrast this with the loanword マーケティング. Quite hard to find a natural sounding English phrase as specific as the source. To me, "customer relations" would seem to imply that his duty is mostly looking after existing customers, where the source implies that he is responsible for seeking out new accounts. Customer acquisition specialist might even be more commonly used than customer acquisition representative. I really don't like the phrase "customer acquisition", but that is definitely a common term (it is apparent from the one million google hits). |
