Streszczenie angielskie: The crosslinking degree was studied in relation to the lerpoly-mer proportion in the blend and annealing temperature. The reactions were run at a temperature from within the range 110-180"C in the presence of l,"l-di-ter^Luity]peroxy-3,5,5-lrimethylcyclohexane as crosslinker and triallyl cyanurate as crosslinking controller (Figs. I-9). The crosslinking degree was determined by measuring the content of the crosslinked fraction (extraction with boiling xylene) or by a vukamelric method (measurement of torsional moment M). With the crosslinker used in identical amounts, the degree of crosslinking of LDPF was higher than that of the terpolymer. As the terpoly-mer proportion in the blend was raised, the degree of crosslinking decreased, but not in direct relation. When added in a small amount, the control-lev was found to reduce the crosslinksbility of LDPE and to enhance that of the terpolymer. The blends cross-linked with the controller added showed the xylene-insoluble fraction to attain a minimum, when the terpolymer proportion was 60 weight parts. The results suggest the crosslinking of LDPE and of the terpolymcr to follow different mechanisms and the two polymert to fail to cross-link with each other in the blend.

Streszczenie polskie: Zbadano wpływ udziału terpolimeru etylen/propylen/norbornen na stopień usieciowania (SU) jego mieszanin z PE-LD w reakcjach przebiegających w różnej temperaturze (110-180°C) w obecności inicjatora - nadtlenku l,l-di-(tert-butylo)-3,5,5-trimetylocykloheksanu oraz regulatora reakcji sieciowania - cyjanuranu triallilowego (rys. 1-9). Wartość SU określano na podstawie wyników oznaczania udziału frakcji usieciowanej (ekstrakcja wrzącym ksylenem) bądź też metodą wulkametryczną (pomiar momentu skręcającego M). Stwierdzono, że pod wpływem działania takiej samej ilości inicjatora stopień usieciowania PE-LD jest większy niż terpolimeru. Ze wzrostem zawartości terpolimeru wartość SU mieszanin zmniejsza się. Spadek ten nie jest proporcjonalny do stężenia terpolimeru. Niewielki dodatek regulatora ogranicza zdolność sieciowania PE-LD, a zwiększa - terpolimeru. W mieszaninach usieciowanych w jego obecności zawartość frakcji nierozpuszczalnej osiąga minimum, gdy udział terpolimeru wynosi 60 cz. mas. na 100 cz. mas. mieszaniny. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują, że reakcje sieciowania obu polimerów przebiegają według różnych mechanizmów i nie następuje ich współsieciowanie w mieszaninie.
