The terms "schleifen" and "nicht tiefgehend aufgerauht" in the same sentence seems a little contradictory to me because you cannot really "sand or grind" something without "scratching or scoring" its surface.
Maybe something like this will work:
If abrasive materials/agents are used for cleaning, deep scoring/scratching of the surface/finish must be avoided.
Hope this helps.

6 mins
deep abrasions
If done by grinding, avoid deep abrasions to the surface.
12 mins
extensively, in depth
I would write :
"If cleaning is done by abrasion, the surface must not be buffed extensively / in depth."
Another idea :
"... the abrasion must not attack / hurt the basic material "...
If you are also working in French, you can compare... In French (I am French) I would say :
"... l'abrasion ne doit pas se faire en profondeur " or "... ne doit pas attaquer la base du matériau"
or something like that.
I hope it helps. Good luck

When sanding avoid deep scratching of the surface.
We use sanding for schleifen, maybe this brings you a bit closer to the term you are looking for,
good luck,
