Listless speech: Quality of speech seems situationally sensitive without any noteworthy deviations.
"Listless" means "Lacking energy, enthusiasm or liveliness".
What about "apaattinen puhe", "eloton puhe"?
Thanks!

raukea refers to a condition or state of being rather than the person's voice. Innoton puhetapa would be closer, but it is entirely up to you...

Kiitos, Desmond! |
In the given context the word speech means "puhe" or "puhetapa". "Listless" could be translated as "apaattinen/eloton/raukea". I just wanted to know which choice accurately suggests "combined lack of sustained interest and appearance of languor". My choice would be "raukea puhetapa". |

väritön
I think 'väritön' might do too.

I don't think there is any established equivalent for this expression. I'd probably go for "tarmoton puhetapa". ("Puheen tuotto" could also be considered.)

Yes, these terms could be all found in the MOT dictionary. Bit I am not sure which term exactly should be used when we describe the symptons of a depressed child. Thank you! |
Pauliina, would be pls choose just one option for "listless speech"? Thanks. |
sorry, "would you please" ... instead of "would be pls" |
Kiitos, Pauliina! |

Too more choices. At least Finnish language seems to be rich when it comes to low-grading.

Actually, I intended to write: "Two more...", but my mistaken "Too more..." seems to suit as well
