Purtroppo il contesto è quello che è.... un sacco di abbreviazioni e punti messi a casaccio in una frase tutta in maiuscolo di un brief tedesco.
Ecco la frase da cui è estrapolato il termine:

"I. VERB.M. VERBR. RADABD. TACHOANGLEICHUNG W. DURCHGEF. SERIENBER. KANN WAHLW WEITER VERW. WERDEN."

io credo di aver capito che si tratti di un adeguamento del tachimetro ma voglio il vostro spassionato parere...

Gleicht man den Tachometer an die vorliegende Größe der Felgen an, so spricht man von einer Tachoangleichung oder einer km-Anpassung. Dieses ist erforderlich, da ein Felgenwechsel eine proportionale Veränderung von gefahrener Geschwindigkeit zu angezeigter Geschwindigkeit bedeutet. Der TÜV fordert bei einem Wechsel der Felgengröße eine entsprechende Tachoangleichung. Dieser Arbeitsvorgang wird im Bereich des Kombiinstrumentes im elektronischen System durch das Verändern der jeweiligen Parameter durchgeführt. Daher ist ein Ausbauen des Tachometers nicht zu verhindern. Die Tachoangleichung betrifft jegliche Art von Neufahrzeugen und Gebrauchtwagen.
