Spanish term

células de trabajo

Spanish to English Other Business/Commerce (general) quality standards

Discussion

Neil Ashby Sep 26, 2010:
"think tanks" might be a possible alternative as well, in this context. Again depends on the rest of the centoxt (the bigger picture not just the sentence), if in general the 'celulas de trabajo' only meet in occasional, multi-disciplinary groups to make general improvements to how the company runs, then 'think tank' could be good.
Anapra (asker) Sep 26, 2010:
Hi LisaMac. Right, the phrase appears in the following sentence: "Participación en células de trabajo vinculadas a proyectos de mejora en diversos procesos de la compañia."
Lisa McCarthy Sep 26, 2010:
Hi Anapra Does the phrase appear on its own or is it within a sentence? If the latter, can you please provide the full sentence or a paragraph? It will help us to give you a more accurate answer.

cells

without any context it's difficult to say, but simply 'cells' could fit in just as well as anything else, if the context makes it obvious that the subject is 'work cells'
Peer comment(s):

agree Lisa McCarthy : 'work cells' - very viable option and plenty of refs.

Given the additional context I think "WORK/WORKING GROUP" would suit the context well.
