English term

rib guns

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Food & Drink food production (beef)
Hi all,

Still working on the same handbook for employees of a consumer packaged food company, I have the following in a chart:

Glove Policy

Glove Cut Kill
Impact Gloves Whiz Knives/ Whiz knives / bungers / head clippers,
(Safety) Rib guns (non- brisket saws, lead lard pullers, front feet
food contact) toe notchers (non-food contact)

Thanks!!! :)

Hi,
You're right, it was leaf lard puller, my mistake when typing. However, "rib guns" is correct (at least that is what I have in my text). It's the only time that's mentioned. It is a chart about the different type of gloves workers have to use, depending the task they performed. I'm sorry I don't have more context for this term.
Thanks.

More context and spelling? This is the first of your questions on this subject I see.
Most of the published fragment makes no sense to me. "Rib gun", for instance seems to be a type of weapon. But at least in one case, there is an error: it is "leaf (not lead) lard puller"

So I wonder if there are no other mistakes or if you could provide more context.

Quizás ayude ver las fotos y descripciones en esta página web. Creo que se refiere al tipo de puño. Mi idea sería puño tejido... pero la verdad es que no sé. Espero que esta referencia ayude. Saludos
