" I want to make a quick point in this again laissez faire distinction of economics where you just remove any type of policy. Really what this is, is like taking a group of hyenas and starving them for a couple of weeks, loading them with crank and throwing them to a big pit with a dead cow in the center of it, and the dead cow is been noted to feed all of them equally. But yet what are they going to do? They are going to create gaming strategies, they are going to fight to obtain this scarcity as brutally as possible, or will they create little groups to work in pairs… They will work to do whatever they can in their small pockets to secure their positions of advantage to gain that food. "
I included quite a big part of context to make this easier to understand. This is a speech.
Thank you, I hope you can help me.

dándoles cristal
Crank = metanfetamina, "cristal" (cuando menos en México).
Note from asker:
Gracias, Henry, esta correcto. Also, FYI Crank is the name of a film which comes from the slang word for amphetamine. I saw it in the Wikipedia. Thank you both and also Meirs who gave me the first comment which was also useful..... |

drogando los con metanfetamina
I found "Crank" listen in the American Heritage dictionary as slang for methamphetamine. It's clearly being used as a hyperbole. Hope this helps

Note from asker:
Thank you, I see that methamphetamine is completely right. In slang it's also known as meth or meth crystal. As regards to yr Spanish translation, let me correct an error: drogándolos con m...... |
Thank you very much to you Rachel. Yr answer was also most helpful, but I selected Henry's this time on account he was the first one to explain clearly about this slang word "crank" in the Discussion entries. Hope I helped you with the verb in Spanish! |
Discussion
La anfetamina es un agente adrenérgico sintético, potente estimulante del sistema nervioso central.
Therefore, it's likely to think that they "loaded them with amphetamine" to stimulate their central nervous system.
What do you think about it? Thank you, by the way....
just guessing ....
Check in Google and you will also find that "crank" is meth; "crack" is a type of cocaine, another drug.
Who knows!
