not much more context available Yes, a media planning system in this case is a piece of software to be followed by humans. Sorry, I thought this was clear. As often the case in such system guides, system references can be very difficult to figure out, e.g. abnehmen and einbuchen are unclear in this context. Ueberblick applies to the user. Since nobody seems to have heard of the term Naturalschaltung, and I cannot find it anywhere, I'll go back to the client for explanation and will close this question.

Context This is very hard to understand out of context. What exactly is a media planning system? A piece of software, or a procedure to be followed by humans? Who or what is maintaining the Überblick? What do "abnehmen" and "einbuchen" mean?

Not a typo Unfortunately, no. Mediaschaltungen is used elsewhere and Naturalschaltungen more than once. I think I will have to revert to client for explanation.
