Spanish term

Glucídos

Spanish to English Medical Medical: Dentistry
La combinación de las enzimas (EZ) y tensioactivos (T) permite la eliminación de restos proteicos, glucídicos y lipídicos, asegurando la correcta limpieza del instrumental.

I'm not sure whether to use carbohydrates, sugars, or something else for glucídos. Glucides, as offered in the glossary already, doesn't seem to fit here.

Thanks very much,

Juliette

carbohydrates

"protein, carbohydrate and lipid containing debris" has been used in this context.

You can play around with the way to write it, but I think carbohydrates first and then sugars would be the choices.

Just an idea.

carbohydrates

I think carbohydrates is the term more often seen in the current scientific bibliography.
