Ischemic white matter changes are seen involoving the deep and periventrecular white matter with ill-defined margins.A flame-shaped area of high signal in T2W sequences in the right parietal deep white matter with diffusion restriction and hypointensity on ADC suggestive of an acute infarct.

Focal areas of gliosis is noted involving the left occipital lobe with cortical loss with some adjacent white matter edema, with no enhancement post gadolinium. Some patchy signal changes are seen within the upper pons centrally which is possibly ischemic.
