1-ый контекст: Gland packing
To assemble the packing, use the correct sequence. Also assemble it in the right the right direction. Refer to the assembly drawing.
* To pull out the piston rod, take the piston rod nuts out of the piston rod, and attach the piston rod jig to the threaded part of the piston rod.
2-й:
Servicing of gland packing
Using the piston rod jig, check the dimension “C” referring to the repair standard list. Shape both edges at the clearance with a sand paper to the standard dimension.
