TESTURIZZATO - Filato artificiale o sintetico a bava continua cui sono state conferite arricciature e ondulazioni simili a quelle delle fibre naturali, per renderlo elastico e voluminoso.
TEXTURIZING - Thermomechanical curling procedure of synthetic fibers performed to make them elastic and bulky so that the fabrics with these products obtain characteristics of coibiosis, softness, resilience, less tendency to form hair etc.
TEXTURIZED - Artificial or synthetic artificial yarn with continuous curl, with curls and ripples similar to those of natural fibers, to make it elastic and bulky.
Substrati di vetro con superficie testurizzata sono stati sviluppati utilizzando il metodo Aluminium Induced Texture (AIT). Esso si basa su una reazione chimica attivata termicamente tra il vetro ed un sottile film di alluminio sacrificale depositato per sputtering (nota: depositare (metallo) su una superficie usando ioni per espellere particelle del metallo). Il trattamento termico condotto successivamente ad alta temperatura induce una reazione redox (nota: ossidazione e riduzione) tra l'Al ed i silicati del vetro. I prodotti di reazione sono, infine, rimossi mediante etching chimico.
Glass substrates with textured surface were developed using the Aluminum Induced Texture (AIT) method. It is based on a thermally activated chemical reaction between the glass and a thin sacrificial aluminum film deposited for sputtering. The heat treatment subsequently conducted at high temperature induces a redox reaction between the Al and the silicates of the glass. The reaction products are finally removed by chemical etching.
