Law (general)
I found the following language in a decree absolute of divorce from England:
AND UPON the Applicant and Respondent agreeing that the provisions of this order are accepted in full and final satisfaction of all financial claims in respect of any property and pensions whatever which either shall be entitled to bring against the other howsoever arising.
I was wondering if this should be translated by dès que or condidérant que or vu.
The end of the document reads as follows:
BY CONSENT AND SUBJECT TO DECREE ABSOLUTE AND UPON THE COURT FINDING THAT THE PROVISION MADE FOR THE APPLICANT IS REASONABLE AND FAIR,
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. The Respondent do transfer to the Applicant all his legaI estate and beneficial interest in thie property Orton Spinney, 84 Orton Lane, Lower Penn Wolverhampton title number SF301673 on or before 10th January 2004 free from any encumbrance or charge.

et vu que le Tribunal a constate; et le Tribunal ayant constate que
Upon (reading etc.) is just a throw-away in a BE judgement, after the judge has looked at the written pleadings and heard the parties/their advisors.
