English term

guardian - conservator - custodian

English to Greek Law/Patents Law (general) inheritance law - κληρονομικό δίκαιο
(from the text of a trust fund - AmE)

HELP!! I have all three in the same sentence... "The Trustee shall annually render an account of the trust to the Grantor (or the guardian or conservator or custodian)"...

The context reveals that there is a child involved who may become the Grantor if the Grantor dies, and I have used "guardian" as "κηδεμόνας" previously in the text, but now I am stuck...

UNLESS... "custodian" refers to the trust and not the child - I'm not sure... any views?

κηδεμόνας - διαχειριστής περιουσίας - επίτροπος

Σύμφωνα με το Cambridge Dictionary:

- Conservator: "a person or an organization that has been legally chosen to control the finances or property of another person, company, or organization" (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/conserva... )

- Guardian: "a person who has the legal right and responsibility of taking care of someone who is not responsible for his or her own care, such as a child whose parents have died" (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/guardian )

- Custodian: "a person or organization that is responsible for protecting, caring for, or maintaining something or someone" (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/custodia...

Κατά συνέπεια, θεωρώ ότι η καλύτερη μετάφραση των τριών όρων είναι "κηδεμόνας" (guardian), "διαχειριστής περιουσίας" (conservator) και "επίτροπος" (custodian).
