Is there anything similar to this expression in English? Context:
(Во время бомбежки, женщины в убежище):
(о бомбардировщиках): "Как с цепи сегодня сорвались, сволочи. А тоже ведь люди подневольные. Ничего, девчата, держись! Смелого пуля боится!"
The speaker implies that a bomb can't hit them as long as they keep their spirits high. How on earth can I say it?
