Discussion

Non-ProZ.com May 30, 2004:
Thanks, Wenjer. But I thought Oze had double-checked it?
Wenjer Leuschel (X) May 30, 2004:
Don't be over. We need to find out what the original text is.
Non-ProZ.com May 30, 2004:
That's weird. I don't know it this is deemed a jargon in the industry. But I do not think this should be rendered as "". Instead, "Ӹ" should do the job best. Thanks, Oze.
Wenjer Leuschel (X) May 30, 2004:
Well, got to ask my colleagues at the company. I work at home and they work in the office. Some of them work with XP English version. The quickest way is to post an English>English question for our English (both US and British) colleagues.
Non-ProZ.com May 30, 2004:
There should be someone who uses English XP, right?
Non-ProZ.com May 30, 2004:
To Oze: "Has the link been broken" is the original?
Non-ProZ.com May 30, 2004:
"ҼOfficeļ/ժҪ߼" is for you to get the "". Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

Capturing the translation of Microsoft products one by one: Has the link been broken?

As for your second part which is not in the "Source Term":

(Referring to the mouse: Right click the Office document, then choose with your left click "Properties", then "Summary", then "Advance".)

Refer to the Chinese version of Microsoft Office.

I see what you mean now, Last Hermit (like your nickname, by the way).

In the English Version of Office XP, the term used is \"Link Dirty\" with a question mark, Last Hermit.
Peer comment(s):

agree Wenjer Leuschel (X) : Microsoft promises to commit to making its products and services easier to use. But I am afraid the Chinese translation makes the products and services harder to use.

I think "right click" is to select the file.

neutral Wenjer Leuschel (X) : "Left-click Property=>Summary=>Advance" for 左键点属性/摘要/高级.
