Non-PRO Dutch to English Law/Patents Agriculture
Change log

Apr 13, 2017 19:16: writeaway changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): philgoddard, Michael Beijer, writeaway

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

Michael Beijer Apr 13, 2017:
examples of "application standards" used in DGT TM De Nederlandse wetgeving ter uitvoering van Richtlijn 91/676/EEG bevat gebruiksnormen voor zowel stikstof als fosfaat.
=
The Dutch legislation implementing Directive 91/676/EEC includes application standards both for nitrogen and phosphate.

(DGT-TM release 2015 (Vol 2014 1-3).tmx)

=
The annual nitrogen and phosphorus soil surplus has been reduced, mainly through a reduction of manure and mineral fertilizer inputs due to continous decrease of nitrogen and phosphorus application standards in the Dutch action programmes.

(DGT-TM release 2015 (Vol 2014 1-3).tmx)

berekeningen om te beoordelen of aan de gebruiksnormen voor stikstof en fosfor is voldaan.
=
calculations for assessment of compliance with nitrogen and phosphorus application standards.

application standards

Or usage rules. It's about which quantities of which fertilisers they can use.

usage norms

Mij dunkt.. maar misschien zie ik iets over het hoofd.

In this way, the company will promote fertilizers that are in compliance with the concept of the environment safe agriculture (i.e., low usage norms of fertilizers, but used in time and in targeted use). High concentrate fertilizers shall be produced, therefore, less packing will be needed – in this way environment pollution will be reduced, also shipment costs and warehousing areas will be smaller, so it directly influence savings on energy resources. As high quality fertilizers will be used, the plant shall avoid phytotoxicity.

"Animal manure

Entrepreneurs [ahem] in the agricultural, horticultural and livestock sectors in the Netherlands must comply with the rules on animal manure. These rules cover:
