cranial nerves: pupillary light reflex (PLR) +/+

Hz = hersenzenuwen = cranial nerves

PR = pupilreflex = pupillary light reflex

Systematically checking the cranial nerves is part and parcel of a standard neurological examination.

In your case:

optic nerve: pupillary light reflex
occulomotor, trochlear and abducens nerve: eye pursuit movements (oogvolgebewegingen; OVB) and horizontal / vertical gaze nystagmus test
facial nerve: gelaat

For the sake of clarity:

In your case they did find a 'blikrichtingsnystagmus' = 'gaze direction nystagmus' or 'gaze-direction nystagmus'

Not so many hits. It normallly occurs as:[direction] gaze nystagmus.
However, since the direction is not specified here...

Also, 'pursuit eye movements' works better than 'eye pursuit movements' here:

OVB intact in alle richtingen --> smooth pursuit eye movements in all directions

So:

Cranial nerves: pupillary light reflex (PLR) +/+, smooth pursuit eye movements in all directions, gaze direction nystagmus, no one-sided facial drooping.
Something went wrong...
