English term

CSP

English to French Law/Patents Law (general)
We reviewed the corporate documentation, including the share certificates of the issued shares of both companies et the nominee agreements providing that the shares are held on your behalf.
We found that the shares were not registered in your name. You were merely the ultimate beneficiary of the shares pursuant to the nominee agreements, which are obviously not registered documents. Your name did not appear in any official document in Jersey or registry in Jersey. You had no control over the company, all the more so that you did not retain the services of the CSP.

Que signifie CSP ?? Merci d'avance pour votre aide précieuse !

Tony M May 15, 2016:
Can be... Central(ized) Services Provider

...but I really don't think that would be applicable here?

Also found Countryside Properties plc and CSP inc., both occurring in relation to stocks and shares prices; don't know if either of those might be vaguely applicable to your context?

Corporate Service Provider

Il me semble que c'est bien ce dont il s'agit:

... to be the company's existing corporate service provider ("CSP")... Only regulated and registered CSPs are able to form companies on behalf of clients (i.e. those regulated under the current fiduciary legislation). All CSPs must, however, register with the Registry in order for them to be able to make submissions on behalf of the companies which they administer.

English term (edited): Corporate Service Provider

Agent de formation de sociétés

if you look at what a "Corporate Service Provider" in Jersey does, it's just a local name for a Company formation agent; to be anything more than that, CPSs must register as Company officers.

"The Companies (Guernsey) Law 2008

Registration of directors and corporate service providers – re-registration of companies Under the Law, no court process is required to form a company. It is therefore no longer strictly necessary to appoint advocates to act in the preparation of applications to court for the formation of companies. Only regulated and registered CSPs are able to form companies on behalf of clients (i.e. those regulated under the current fiduciary legislation). All CSPs must, however, register with the Registry in order for them to be able to make submissions on behalf of the companies which they administer.

I certainly did notice it. Their basic/primary function is to incorporate various entities for the benefit of their clients, "administering" them is an optional add-on ... // tens of websites I checked, list too long for quoting!
