English term
back pad
English to French
Medical
Medical (general)
Device that coaches you during CPR.
The device consists of a chest pad, which is placed on the sternum, and a ***back pad***, which is placed beneath the patient.
IMPORTANT: the chest pad is actually the whole device, with buttons, screen, and palm pad on which to put your hands during CPR. It's rather big (750 g) and it doesn't stick to the patient like a defibrilation electrode for instance. The back pad is bigger, with a handle so that you can easily slide it beneath the patient, aligned with the chest pad.
