Kompetenzeinheit Explanation: „Standards“ bezeichnen eine kompetenzbezogene Vorgaben, in einschlägigen Publikationen oft als „Kompetenzstandards“ bezeichnet. „Unit“ ist ein begrenzter Bereich (oder eine "Einheit"), in dem diese Kompetenz erarbeitet und in Form von Credits honoriert wird. "Jeder Standard, welcher im NQF festgeschrieben ist, beschreibt, was ein Lernender/eine Lernende wissen oder können muss. Es wird unterschieden zwischen Unit Standards, welche von ExpertInnen des jeweiligen Bereichs entworfen werden und Achievement Standards (Leistungsstandards).
