I understand that passage to mean that the "interventional suite" combines 2 (formerly separate) interventional methods (i.e. MR and cardio lab) in one location - one suite of rooms. Is this an easy question?
It should be Räume für ... but I found through google that German universities or hospitals have Abteilungen, where the the UCSF has suites. E.g. in 2000 the x-ray and MR suites were merged. The UC San Francisco is dedicated to health siences only, so the suites must be huge..
I wouldn't use Suite, that's luxury hotel accommodation or a piece of music to me.
Methoden is the only word I can think of that covers radiology and cardiology
(diagnostics and therapy).
