A method of paying for purchased products.

"Purchasing of the products can be handled in two different ways. One is by letter of credit from your bank, the second possibility is by direct deposit to our bank."

Hello. If the Japanese person you are dealing with has import/export knowledge, he or she will know what you are talking about if you say 'LC(pronounced in Japan like 'Elu Shee') I have written the Japanese characters next to the English on top.
If not, the word for it is 'Shin-yo-jo'
meaning 'letter of trust'.
