khosh 'Amadid, khosh 'umadi,

I have refined the transliteration of the two expressions already mentioned by my colleague. There are also other possible expressions to welcome someone:

"mosharraf farmudid", "sarafrAz-eman kardid", and "khAneh-ye mA rA monavvar farmudid" are more formal expressions. "saFA 'Avardid", "qadam-ranjeh farmudid" are less formal.

In the following expression:
a. Thanks a lot.
b. You are welcome

'you are welcome' can be translated as 'khAhesh mikonam'.

Good luck!

Dear Mr. Hassani. Here we use A to represent the long vowel, and a to represent the short vowel in Farsi.
