Każdy obiekt, w którym możemy zapłacić kartą płatniczą czy kredytową posiada tzw. kod akceptanta kart płatniczych MCC (Merchant Category Code). Jest dość duży kłopot aby dowiedzieć się jaki kod posiada dana placówka handlowa (nie ma tego kodu na wydruku potwierdzającym płatność) – najprostszy sposób to po prostu spytać w kasie sklepu lub kierownika sklepu. Dokładny spis kodów, które objęte są zwrotem to:
Supermarkety, sklepy spożywcze – kody MCC: 5411, 5441, 5451, 5462, 5499, 5331 oraz
Stacje paliw – kody MCC: 5541, 5542, 5983.
