Kickover Tool "K and AK Series"

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this task, the employee should be able to:
1. Disassemble and assemble these KOT’s. Utilize during Gaslift operations.

THEORIES:
1. Describe the purpose, application and different features of this series KOT.
2. Explain Gaslift Valve size KOT work’s in conjunction with.
3. List SPM style these KOT’s will work in.
4. Explain proper procedure for pulling and setting Gaslift valves with K and AK series tool.
5. Discuss differences between K and the AK style KOT.
6. In certain GLM’s, can the tool discriminator inside the pocket, give you trouble when using the K style KOT? Explain:

PRACTICALS:
1. Disassemble and assemble these KOT’s.
2. Identify and describe the function of all individual components of the Kickover Tools.
3. Function test all tools too complete operation of pulling and setting GLV's.
4. Perform Mantenance on the equipment after completion of Operation prior to storing tools.
5. 2 jobs to completion (Assessment scoring sheet completed).
