AE.12.2.1. Test Separator V-201
The incoming fluids from the ASP producer arrived at the test separator at 55 °C and 2 bara. The separator will help separate liquids from gas at 1 bara, allowing the gas to be used as heater fuel and in case of stable emulsion, brine and different chemicals (e.g. demulsifiers, antifoam agents) will be injected upstream of the test separator to improve separation. The amount of chemicals is still unknown. The total flow rate is 1050 m3/d, comprising 900 sm3/d of gas and 150 m3/d of liquids.
Using a pre-designed spreadsheet from GSUD and adjusted from a three-phase separator to a two-phase separator, the following calculations were issues:
