PRELL es una variante de PRILL, una marca de explosivo ANFO (Ammonium Nitrate and Fuel Oil), fabricada por CMI (Chemical and Mining Company) y empleada en la voladura:

Aunque el nombre "Prill" parece ser el oficial, la variante "Prell" es bastante frecuente también:

El ANFO suele llamarse igual en español (apenas se encuentra "NAFO"):

Siendo una sigla, debería ir en mayúsculas, pero se encuentra a menudo en minúsculas;
